I’ve been greatly inspired by historic depictions of feminine beauty. From sculptures in Ancient Greece to Renaissance and Victorian era paintings - women are at the epicenter of art through the ages.

The female form IS art.

There’s a pure and dream-like essence about traditional feminine art that captivates me and I’ve recently been trying to emulate that in my own work. I’m still working on defining my own style of photography so right now I’m just doing what I like.

Working with film has changed absolutely everything for me though and I love it so much more than I ever loved my portrait work in digital. Film is timeless, honest, and wonderfully tangible
