Nature: light and details

María Prego send us this series of eight pictures that she calls "Nature: light and details". She is 25 years old and studied photography and graphic design. It has been only 5 years since she got interested in the field of film photography. She bought her first analog camera during her photography studies, and since then she has been using it since to take pictures here and there.
Used to carry the camera wherever she sets foot, it is the little things that calls her attention, and those are usually landscapes, flowers, the light and nature details in general. Nonetheless being in love with analog she possesses a digital camera, but the process of creating an image through film, the grain and the imperfection of the image is what keeps her interested in the non-digitized image processing.
Everyone has one good reason why they still shoot film and for her its only one reason:
"There's like this space between the moment you take it to the moment you develop it, that separates you from the picture for a while. I think this waiting time makes you appreciate the result even more. Also, using film, even if it's for a short time, improves your digital skills. You value every image you take because you know you can't remove it, so this helps a lot to think about the composition of what you want to capture".
