I am a self taught film photographer in Texas. I've been photographing for about 5 years.  I'm completely in love with the entire process! From the sound and feel of the shutter, to the way film renders a scene, to the magic I experience every time I process the film and see the images on the negatives. It never loses its excitement.

I find most my inspiration from being on the road exploring the in between places, the lonely places.  I photograph mostly on road trips around Texas and the Southwest, and hope to continue exploring the American landscape by car. But I also greatly enjoy walking around with my camera exploring the nearby neighborhoods.  I'm usually drawn to what people leave behind. The stillness and the every day mundane is where I find my inspiration.

I use many different cameras and stocks of film. I have literally carried 5 cameras at a time while walking across some field in the middle of nowhere hoping not to step on a snake.  Anyway, here i am including photos shot with Mamiya 645(mediumformat), Nikon F2(35mm), Graflex Speed Graphic(large format 4x5), and one of my favorites the Yashica Mat 124g(medium format 6x6) Films included to the best of my recollection are Portra 160, Lomo 100, Fomapan 400, Ektar 100, Delta 100, Ilford HP5.

Thank you for taking your time for reading and enjoying the pictures.
